Malaysian actor Farid Kamil is set to play Anwar Ibrahim in a biopic about the PKR President.
It will also star Indonesian actress Acha Septriasa as Anwar’s wife, Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.
The joint Indonesian-Malaysian production is titled ‘Jalan Masih Panjang’.
Actor Hasnul Rahmat will play former PM Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Kangar PKR candidate Amin Ahmad posted about the biopic on Facebook.
“After 2018 a few parties met me about this on a recommendation by Anwar’s office. Some wanted to make a documentary and others a film,” he said.
