Maharashtra Police registers case against 6 students under rioting, cigarette act etc. after a controversial play was staged at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).
The play showed Mata Sita smoking a cigarette and Lord Shri Ram helping her in lighting it & abusing Lakshman.
Shiva Barole, ABVP’s Pune University unit chief, said play’s content was made to offend Hindu sentiments.
