Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Nigerian singer, Wizkid Balogun, has earned a Grammy nomination for “Best Global Music Album” with his album, “Made In Lagos.” (Read More Here).
Made In Lagos was released by Wizkid during the pandemic period and it did great on Billboard Global Album Chart. One of the best songs from the album happens to be “Essence.”
“Essence” was the song for summer in US, UK, Australia and Germany in 2021. Essence also was hit #10 on Billboard Hot 100 in the US.
Femi Kuti also got a nomination for his incredible album, titled, Legacy.”
