Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that The NLC sent R5M to Terry Pheto and Thula Sindi lotto organization, Zibisibix Non-Profit Company for a chicken farm in December 2018.
Their names are mentioned in a report detailing the outcome of investigations by the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) into allegations of corruption and maladministration in the NLC.
According to a report tabled in parliament’s trade and industry portfolio committee, R5m was granted to a company called Zibsibix by the NLC in December 2018. The money was paid into different accounts.
Renowned actress Moitheri “Terry” Pheto, celebrated for her role in the iconic film [Tsotsi], along with her sister Dimakatso and fashion designer friend Thula Sindi, find themselves embroiled in a controversy surrounding the alleged mismanagement of a R5 million grant designated for a poultry farm from the National Lotteries Commission (NLC).
An investigative report released by the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) has implicated the trio in what appears to be a misallocation of funds intended for developmental projects.
