Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Cracker Barrel goes woke as company celebrate ‘pride month’ with rainbow chair.

Taking to social media, Cracker Barrel wrote: “We are excited to celebrate Pride Month with our employees and guests. Everyone is always welcome at our table (and our 🌈 rocker). Happy Pride!”

The post continued: “Experience the out of this world flavor of Impossible Sausage Made From Plants next time you Build Your Own Breakfast.”

The plant-based offering apparently got stuck in the craw of the chain’s customers who thought that the company was betraying its traditional country-style brand.

“I just lost respect for a once great Tennessee company,” one Facebook user wrote. “Don’t you ever try to push that cr** in my direction. Stick to the basics that made your franchise a success,” wrote another Facebook user.

“Are you kidding me? Who do you think your customer base is? I still order the double meat breakfast and it’s not even on the menu anymore,” wrote another user.

“I only eat vegetables I can recognize,” wrote someone else on Facebook.

“I just lost respect for a once great Tennessee company,” wrote another irate customer.

The post garnered hundreds of more negative comments in which people decried the possibility that “woke” vegetarian options would be a permanent fixture on the menu.

Cracker Barrel has become the new battleground of America’s culture war after the Southern-themed restaurant chain posted a Facebook notice touting its new plant-based sausage.

“Discover new meat frontiers,” the Lebanon, Tenn.-based company wrote on its Facebook page next to a photo of a serving of scrambled eggs and two sausage patties made by Impossible Foods, the vegan-sourced meat manufacturer.
