An overnight terrorist attack on the Lakki Marwat police station in Bargai resulted in at least four police officers being martyred and four others being injured on Sunday.
Armed terrorists attacked the police station from two directions. A fierce exchange of fire took place between the police and the outlaws that left four policemen dead and as many injured.
Among those who died were Constables Ibrahim, Imran, Khairur Rahman, and Sabz Ali.
Mahmood Khan, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), has noticed the incident and sought an inspection report from the police inspector general (IG).
After the attack, the attackers ran away. Police have started looking for the saboteurs in the region.
