Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Kieran Trippier’s son said ‘Yes’ after being asked if he’s disappointed by PSG’ loss.

Presenter asked: “disappointed by Paris’ loss?”

Kieran Trippier’s son: “Yes.”

Taking to social media, a Nigerian X user called Kylian Mbappe ‘Kylian Mbedbug’ following PSG huge defeat last night.

The Nigerian user wrote: “Which one be Kylian Mbedbug again bayii?”

Newcastle deservedly added a second just before the break. PSG nearly turned Kieran Trippier’s freekick into their own net, with Donnarumma forced into a stretching save. He then stopped Bruno Guimaraes at the near post before the Brazilian’s chip was headed home by Dan Burn. Initially ruled out for offside, VAR reversed the decision.

Kylian Mbappe was a peripheral figure, and the rest of his Paris Saint-Germain team-mates did little to contribute, as the Parisians lost 4-1 to a rampant Newcastle side in their second Champions League group-stage fixture. The Frenchman never got on the ball in the right areas, while a trio of defensive breakdowns handed the Magpies easy goals as the other end, as PSG’s mixed start to life under new manager Luis Enrique continued.

PSG nearly opened the scoring after five minutes, with Kylian Mbappe’s inch-perfect cross finding Ousmane Dembele in space at the far post. Luckily for the home side, he somehow volleyed his effort off target.

The French side were made to pay for the mistake as St. James’ Park erupted in the 17th minute when Newcastle took the lead.

PSG were caught playing out from the back, with Marquinhos’ poor pass falling to Alexander Isak. His shot was well saved by Gianluigi Donnarumma, but the rebound was coolly slotted home by Miguel Almiron.
