Kevin Federline and his ex father-in-law Jaime Spears are reportedly working on a book about fatherhood and their personal experiences.

The ex-husband of Britney Spears is writing a book about his experience raising his children and her father has agreed to help him out with the endeavor. According to Page Six, the men are on great speaking terms three years after Federline filed a retraining order against Jaime for allegedly abusing his grandson Sean Preston. Although he wasn’t charged for the alleged abuse, the protective order prevented Spears from visiting his two grandson for three years.

Spears and Federline reconciled after he revealed during an interview with the Daily Mail that he wanted Jaime to be a part of his sons’ lives in August. “People make mistakes, I feel bad for him, I feel like he’s been put through the ringer,” he explained to the outlet. Spears also spoke with the Daily Mail on Sunday to discuss his role in his daughter’s conservatorship and how she would’ve been “dead” if he didn’t step in to help her.
