KAVULAMUNGU FAMILY ACCUSES STATE HOUSE OF EXTORTION, TRIBALISM AND INCOMPENTENCE

The family of Younus Mitha, the main financier of the opposition Zambia Must Prosper, has now resorted to accusing the UPND government of arresting businessmen who funded the UPND prior to elections in order to stop them from demanding their dues. (Read More Here).

Kavulamungu’s family further accuses State House of hypocrisy, tribalism, corruption and failure to run government.

Mitha, who runs Kavulamungu Bargaining Centre in Chipata is the main financier of Fube. Last Thursday he was arrested together with music promoter Bwalya Kalandanya, Beauty Chama, Ibrahim Mitha, and Hassan Hanif Mitha for being in possession of goods reasonably believed to be proceeds of crime and money laundering.

Kelvin Bwalya Fube was arrested in connection with the matter but his specific charge is failing to report a suspicious transaction Kavulamungu later described the arrest as ‘utter rubbish’. Kavulamungu vowed to bring down the government. 

Later, one of Kavulamungu’ sons authored and distributed an article in which he accuses the UPND government of all manner of evil things including extortion.

They bite the finger that feeds them, everyone knew that Kavulamungu was very sympathetic to UPND because The Andrew Lubusha led PF provincial executive was busy stifling all payments of FRA and frustrating businesses across the province despite Kavulamungu heavily helping out the Party in government at that time i.e P.F

The narrative that has gripped the business community around Zambia is that the UP and Down sibajailika…. They are a dishonourable lot and they do not keep their word!!!!

They will collect millions from you and then turn around and dishonour their word! Kavulamungu has helped ICHIPANI CHO LAMULILA CHA MANJE in ways they never expected and when now comes the time to repay the loyalty and support…the senior cartel member’s ( there are three cartels in up Nd down right now) want to keep milking the cow by creating unnecessary and bigger problems for those helping them to juice out the last penny that they can!!

The narrative in the business community of Zambia is that…. These guys never meant to bring about any change… They were just envious and jealous of their thieving opponents, ba PF, to want what PF had…. A chance to steal and equalise the financial status quo!

Right now they are clueless about how to make money and generate money because they don’t know how to share and eat together with others so no one want to give them progressive ideas, and are only interested in buying centre pivots at their farms in gwembe, namwala and bweengwa and so they have resorted to EXTORTION TACTICS by creating milandu to keep their funders in court or threatened through malicious media articles!!

Zambia is a family, bembas, EASTERNERS, southerners, westerners, zambian Indians, Zambian coloureds, zambian whites ARE ALL ONE FAMILY…… And business knows no tribe or race…. So the business community in Zambia is who rules the country without interfering with the politics of the country!!!

But when you interfere with business….. Even a southerner will wake up and put street lights in choma to show the politicians that they are losing the plot and are incompetent!!!

BACKGROUND

When announcing the arrest of Fube and others, DEC spokesperson Mathias Kamanga said Kalandanya had changed the title of the seven fully furnished apartments in Jesmondine worth Kwacha 6.1 to Beauty Chama without Chama’s knowledge.

The seven flats were later sold to Ibrahim Mitha and Hassan Hanif Mitha on behalf of Chama without her ever knowing that she owned the said flats. Kamanga said Ibrahim Mitha and Hassan Hanif Mitha claim they bought the flats through KBF.

Mitha, who also runs Kavulamungu Transport, has vowed to fight the arrest of Fube and others.

Mitha’s close associates said the businessman has vowed to bring down the government for arresting his president and associates.

“He said he won’t rest and the government should prepare itself for a tough time. He has vowed not to rest,” said the source.
