A magistrate court sitting in Lagos has remanded a BRT driver, Andrew Nice, who was arrested in connection with the abduction and murder of 22-year-old fashion designer, Bamise Ayanwola. (Read More Here).




Bamise went missing after she boarded a BRT bus driven by Nice at the Ajah axis of the state on February 26, 2022. She was found dead at Carter Bridge in Lagos Island, on Sunday, March 6.


On Monday, March 7, the suspect was arrested in Ogun state after he fled Lagos. On Friday, March 11, the police filed a four-count charge against the suspect. The charges are alleged murder, rape, and interference with the deceased’s corpse.


The presiding magistrate, O.A. Salawu, held that Omininikoron be remanded pending legal advice from the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecution. He, then, adjourned the case to April 11, 2022.
