Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that the Former ‘7de Laan’ actress, Themsie Times, who played Maria, has died. (Read More Here).
According to a statement from the publicity manager, she passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at the age of 70.
Publicity manager to “7de Laan” broke the news about the death of Themsie Times to a popular South African tabloid this morning. The statement reads:
“It is unfortunately true. As far as I understand she passed yesterday. She’s obviously not been a part of the show for a very long time. She’s always been an integral part of the show.”
Themsie Times played the role ‘Maria’ for 13 years before leaving the show in 2016. The actress was a mom of three and a grandmother of six, and lived in Johannesburg with two of her grandchildren.
According to information, late Themsie used to have a shop at Hillbrow, Claim Street. After her passing, fans began to ask if she finally got the chance to complete her house at eQwaqwa.
A fan wrote to late Times:
“Former 7de Laan actress Themsie Times who played Maria has passed away. May your soul R.I.P Ouma.”
