Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Jhené Aiko’s father, Dr. Karamo Chilombo, welcomed his ninth child at the age of 78.

Chilombo previously revealed in July that he and his partner were expecting a baby boy after posting a clip from their sex reveal party to Instagram.

On December 16, the day that the baby was born, he also revealed in an Instagram comment that he was waiting for the birth at the hospital. Jhené Aiko’s father was celebrating on Christmas day after welcoming his ninth child.

Dr. Karamo Chilombo, a 78-year-old pediatrician revealed on the holiday that his partner had given birth back on December 16 of this year.

‘He is here,’ he captioned his Instagram post announcement, revealing that the baby’s name is JahSeh-Miyagi.

The slideshow also included some adorable photo of the little boy, including one of him laid out on a bed with a big featuring a dump truck that read, ‘I dig you.’

‘I am a child of God blessed & highly favored,’ read another photo featuring a closeup of the sleepy-looking baby.

A humorous snap from Christmas Eve featured Chilombo in a reindeer onesie, and he noted that he was spending the day before Christmas at his daughter Jhené’s home, though it wasn’t clear if he brought along his newest son. Last month, his daughter Jhené expanded her family with her second child — named Noah — and the first from her relationship with rapper Big Sean.

‘After 24 hours of labor, a total lunar eclipse, and while it was pouring rain… he came,’ she announced on Instagram while sharing photos of her and Sean waiting at the hospital. ‘My baby Yoda, my Sani,’ she added.

Jhené and Sean began dating the same year, but the couple split in 2018, which fans were tipped off to after noticing that she had covered up several of her tattoos, including one depicting Sean’s face.

She confirmed the split publicly in 2019, but the two were seen together later that year, and in 2020 they went public about their reconciliation.

Sean was just as overjoyed as his partner, and he shared a sweet photo of himself doing some skin-to-skin contact bonding with Noah.

‘My heart,’ he captioned a version of the photo posted to his Instagram Stories. He also included a lighter moment showing him hunched over and snoozing while masked up in a char as he waited for his son to arrive.

Chilombo told his followers in July that he was expecting a baby boy with his partner by posting a video of their “gender reveal results.”

Aiko commented her “congratulations” on the social media upload, alongside a blue heart emoji.

Chilombo, who has eight other children, teased his newborn’s arrival in a Dec. 16 Instagram selfie. Sean and Aiko have been dating on and off since 2016, debuting the songwriter’s baby bump in a joint Instagram post in July.

Three months later, the duo shared the little one’s sex while performing “I’m Gonna Be” in Los Angeles. The Grammy nominated singer, whose mom is Christina Yamamoto, is the youngest of Yamamoto and Chilombo’s five children together. In addition to Aiko, her parents also raised son Jahi and daughters Jamila and Miyoko. Aiko’s other brother, Miyagi, died in 2012 after being diagnosed with a brain tumor. He was 26.

In November, the “Sunshine” songstress welcomed her second child, son Noah, whom she shares with Big Sean. (Aiko is also mom to 14-year-old daughter Namiko, with whom she shares with ex O’Ryan.)

“After 24 hours of Labor, A Lunar Eclipse, with rain from the beginning of labor til he was born, he’s here safe and sound,” Sean, 34, announced via Instagram at the time of the arrival of the pair’s first child together. “Happy, Healthy and everything we could ever ask for and more.”

The couple have been together on and off since 2016, the year they released their joint album Twenty88. Though Aiko and Sean split two years later, they reconciled in early 2020.

In 2016, “The Worst” artist opened up about her experience of being a mother to Namiko during an episode of Vice Autobiographies.

“In 2008, I got pregnant with my daughter. She made me feel fearless,” she shared at the time. “I never doubted that something good would come from it. If anything, it was inspiring and it just gave me this extra, extra drive.”
