Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband, Justin Mikita, announced that they’ve welcomed their second baby, a baby boy named Sullivan.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita welcomed their second baby, Sullivan Louis Ferguson-Mikita, via surrogate on Tuesday.

“Sad to be away from my @takemeoutbway fam tonight but we ran off to welcome our newest little one, Sullivan Louis Ferguson-Mikita,” he wrote in an Instagram post, which featured their newest bundle of joy.

“A special thanks to @drshahinghadir for helping us grow our family & our incredible surrogate and all of the nurses and doctors. We are overjoyed to be a family of four.”

Ferguson, 47, and Mikita, 37, became dads in July 2020 when their son Beckett was born with the help of a gestational carrier.

The “Modern Family” alum praised the lawyer in the infant’s Instagram debut, writing, “Two weeks ago I got to see you become a dad. We are entering a whole new chapter and I couldn’t be happier to be doing it with you.”

“There was this forced opportunity to stop and relax and be in the moment,” Ferguson told People in March 2021.

“[Parenting is] astonishing,” he added. “I can be in a bad mood and seeing [Beckett] super excited, kicking and smiling, it just immediately lifts my spirits. It’s so pure and sweet. And it gives me so much joy.”

In May of the following year, the “Take Me Out” star told his Instagram followers that baby No. 2 was on the way.

“@justinmikita and I have some exciting news, we’re expecting No. 2!” he captioned an Instagram video. “Our growing family will be a family of four later this fall! We are so excited for Beckett to have a sibling.”

Ferguson’s former “Modern Family” co-stars sweetly showed their support in the comments section, with Sarah Hyland gushing, “YESSSSSSSSSSS.”

The Tony winner and Mikita got engaged in September 2012 after nearly two years of dating, tying the knot in July 2013 in New York.

The SAG Award winner added that he’d wanted to be a father “for a long time” but was waiting until Mikita was “ready” to take the plunge. “We’re raising him gay until he decides he’s straight,” he teased. “On the way back from the hospital, we played Britney Spears because that was what Justin demanded we listen to, his first exposure to music.”

Ferguson asserted that he and his partner would “absolutely” still love their son if he’s straight. “Justin and I were saying, ‘We can just tell he’s gonna be such a straight kid,’” he said. “Who knows? He can do whatever he wants. I have a feeling he’s gonna wanna play football. I can just tell. I’m gonna have to learn how to do all those things.”

The four-time SAG Award winner famously earned $500K per episode to portray lawyer and married father-of-one Mitchell Pritchett in the ABC mockumentary sitcom, which concluded in 2020 after 11 seasons.

Jesse and Justin’s Instagram post also received supportive comments from Uzo Aduba, Donna Murphy, David Burtka, Amanza Smith, Kerry Butler, Steve Kazee, and Adrienne Warren.

Ferguson’s ‘incredible understudy’ Timothy Wright will take over his part in Take Me Out this Tuesday and Wednesday.

But the Ivy + Bean: Doomed to Dance actor will return Thursday as investment counselor Mason Marzac in Scott Ellis’ Tony-winning Broadway revival, which runs through February 5 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre in Manhattan.

Jesse also has a mystery role in Elizabeth Banks’ thriller Cocaine Bear, which Universal Pictures will release in US/UK theaters on February 24.

It’s inspired by the true story of an American Black Bear going on a murderous rampage after unintentionally ingesting cocaine in a Kentucky forest circa 1985.

Cocaine Bear also stars Keri Russell, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Alden Ehrenreich, Kristofer Hivju, Christian Convery, Brooklynn Prince, Margo Martindale, and the late Ray Liotta.
