Jack Black’s mother, Judith Love Cohen, had a remarkable career as an engineer at NASA. She played a significant role in the development of the Abort-Guidance System, which was instrumental in rescuing the Apollo 13 astronauts during their ill-fated mission in 1970.
Judith’s work at NASA was not limited to the Apollo program; she also contributed to the Hubble Space Telescope and other projects. Her dedication to her work was so strong that she even took a printout of a problem she was working on to the hospital on the day Jack Black was born.
