Today marks it the 9th year since Nollywood comic actor, Sam Loco Efe passed away in his hotel room at Rapour hotel in Owerri, Imo State on the 7th of August, 2011.
Before he died, he was preparing to retire, which his son confirmed with The Pulse.
“We all expected him to retire so that we would have enough time to spend with him. He was also planning towards his retirement by building a farm in Abakaliki but death took him away suddenly,” Omoruyi Loco Efe said.
Taking to his Twitter, Sam Loco Efe’s son, Omoruyi Loco Efe shared a remembrance photo of his father accompanied with a tweet; which briefly revealed how he received the news of his father death.
“Around this time in 2011, I was just starting my bar finals exams when news of your death hit me. 9 years gone! 9 years remembered! Rest on Erhamwen! – he tweeted.
