Taking to his Twitter page, Jack, announced that he has resigned as the CEO of Twitter as he shared a screenshot of his resignation message.

He wrote: “After almost 16 years of having a role at our company, from co-founder to CEO to chair to Exec chair to interim-CEO to CEO…I decided it’s finally time for me to leave. Why? There is a lot of talk about the importance of a company being “founder-led.” Ultimately I believe that’s severely limiting and a single point of failure. I have worked hard to ensure that this company can break away from its founding and founders,” Dorsey said in a mail.

He wrote again: “Not sure anyone has heard but,

I resigned from Twitter.”

Taking to his Twitter page, the new CEO of Twitter, Parag Agrawal, thanked Jack for everything as he takes over from him. He wrote:

“Deep gratitude for @jack and our entire team, and so much excitement for the future. Here’s the note I sent to the company. Thank you all for your trust and support.”

In 2019, Jack Dorsey, Parag Agrawal and a few Twitter team visited Nigeria. In one of his photos, Parag thanked Ngozi Iweala for welcoming them well in Nigeria.

Parag Agrawal is reportedly an Indian-American, who was born in Bombay, India, but later relocated to the United States of America with his parents.

Indians are currently taking over the tech world, from Google, Microsoft and now Twitter.
