Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Imam in Ansarudeen Masjid in Abuja said Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) helped Muslim brother in 2006 pay for their Hajj after contractor ran away with their money.
It was gathered that Tinubu had worshipped at Ansarudeen Masjid in Abuja.
Adamu Garba wrote: “Today, the Imam of Ansaruddeen Mosque, Maitama announced the presence of @officialABAT to pray together with us. I love Imam’s statement. He said, “As a religious leader, he cannot show open support for a particular candidate but will pray for their collective successes”

“Suppose our religious leaders can allow politicians to play their politics without interference in the choices of candidates. In that case, it means the political business will be for the best, and voters will be less emotive but reasonable in their choices of leaders.
“Again, the imam went ahead to recollect how Asiwaju came to their aid at a time they needed to perform a pilgrimage to mecca when they faced certain situations, but again he made it clear that the choices of the voters are left to be determined by how candidates convinced them.
“Today at Ansarudeen Masjid in Abuja where Bola Ahmed Tinubu observed his Jumaat prayers , the Imam made it known to the congregants that the Muslim brother in 2006 who saved the community by paying for all their hajj after a contractor had absconded with the total sum was Tinubu.”
