A 27 -year-old Chinese national, who is wanted by the Malawian authorities for allegedly filming Malawian children in Lilongwe and selling the demeaning videos for profit in China, has been convicted and fined by the Chipata magistrate court for unlawful entry and unlawful stay in Zambia.
Lu Ke fled Malawi after BBC, in its special investigation, busted how the suspect was pretending to be teaching the children the Chinese language but in the process was exploiting them.
Chipata Resident Magistrate Mercy Chitabo fined him K13,000 in both counts.
