‘I’m afraid for the core Northern states, coronavirus is a world leveler’ – Senator Dino Melaye.

Nigerian senator, Dino Melaye has expressed his concern towards the Northern states of Nigeria.

Dino Melaye in a recent post on Instagram appealed to the governors of all the Northern states of Nigeria to be proactive and follow all the measures listed by

WHO and NCDC(Nigeria Centre for Disease Control). 

He continued by saying that coronavirus is a respecter of no man regardless of status, age, etc, therefore, it is capable of leveling an entire planet.

He ended his statement by saying that the health of the Northerners and the entire Nigerians should not be politicized. 

He wrote: “I’m afraid for the core Northern states. I appeal to the Governors to be proactive and enforce all conditions stated by WHO and NCDC. COVID-19 is real and it is a world leveler. It has no respect for status, religion or wealth. Please let’s not politicise with public health”
