“How I Wiped Out The Entire Family Of CBN Staff Over Refusal To Increase My Salary”– Driver Reveals.

Gallant men of the Ogun State police command have arrested three suspects involved in the murder of former CBN staff, Kehinde Fatinoye, his wife Bukola and their only son, Oreoluwa Fatinoye, at their house in the Ibara area of Abeokuta, Ogun State on December 31, 2022.

In a statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the suspects were identified as Lekan Adekanbi a. k. a Koroba, Ahmed Odetola a. k. a Akamo and Waheed Adeniji a. k. a Koffi.

Lekan Adekanbi who had been the driver of the deceased family for four years was earlier arrested after getting certain evidence against him. He reportedly collapsed in the cell on the January 2, was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

As if he had been pretending, he suddenly jumped off the bed while receiving treatment and escaped through the fence of the hospital.

The fact that he escaped raided the police suspicion of his involvement in the murder case. The Commissioner of Police thereafter ordered the State anti kidnapping unit to collaborate with the homicide unit to ensure the driver and his accomplices were arrested.

After so much effort, Lekan was caught in his hideout somewhere in Abeokuta on the January 21st.

Upon interrogation, he finally confessed to being the mastermind of the murder and revealed that he invited Akamo and Koffi to join him to rob the family.

He noted that he did this because the couple had refused to increase his salary, and that when he approached them for loan to buy a motorcycle, they declined.

He further stated that since he has access to the house, he and his two accomplices waited for the couple to return from crossover service on that fateful day and attacked them as soon as they entered.

He stated that since he is the one who constantly feeds the Asatian dog in the house, the dog is very accustomed to him and did not attack them.

After taking full control of the couple, they ordered the husband, Kehinde Fatinoye to transfer money from his account to Ahmed Odetola’ s ” Kuda” bank account, but the transfer failed.
