We reported that Chris Brown pulled out of a Houston benefit concert because Bryson Tiller was no longer performing, which he claims violated his contract.

However, this Houston activist and home builder, LeJuan Bailey, says that’s no excuse for keeping her $1M. She says she spent the money with hopes of making more so that she can rebuild homes for hurricane victims. She is asking that Chris return the money.

Chris Brown is speaking out to defend himself after an organizer of a benefit concert accused him of running off with more than $1M.

According to TMZ, the organizer claims Brown bailed on March 19, just hours before the scheduled event. But emails from Brown’s team show that he actually reached out on March 17 to inform that he could no longer participate.

Per the report, “The letter states Bryson Tiller, who was also to perform at the event, had been removed from the lineup without a viable replacement, a violation of the contract Chris had in place … so Chris wasn’t going to perform.”

“The letter appears to have been sent 2 days before the show, not during the sound check … when Bailey claims she found out.” Both sides are currently negotiating a resolution. Chris is willing to donate to the Houston Community who were affected by the Hurricane.
