NBA G-League player Chance Comanche and ex-girlfriend Sakari Harnden planned murder by setting up threesome with Marayna Rodgers who was a “working prostitute” in Las Vegas.
Comanche told authorities he strangled Rodgers with an HDMI cord while Rodgers choked her with her hands. The pair subsequently disposed of Rodgers’ body in a ditch on the side of Vincenzo Lane in Henderson, Nevada, where police later found her remains.
Harnden was arrested in Las Vegas on Dec. 13. FBI agents in Sacramento arrested Comanche Dec. 15. The former G League player is expected to appear in court Tuesday, before being extradited to Las Vegas.
The plan was for Comanche to pose as a “trick” to lure Marayna into a $1k “kinky sex” job that included tying her up. Comanche and Sakari strangled Marayna with hands and HDMI cord before dumping her body in a desert.
Sakari was upset with Marayna for telling mutual friends she snitched on her boyfriend in a double murder case in California. Marayna and Sakari also reportedly had issues over a Rolex.
Per authorities, Comanche is currently at Sacramento County Main Jail, where he is being held without bail. Also according to authorities, the Clark County District Attorney’s Office is charging both Comanche and Harnden with murder.
Former Sacramento Kings G League player Chance Comanche reportedly admitted shocking details in the Las Vegas murder of a 23-year-old woman named Marayna Rodgers.
FOX5 reported that Comanche confessed to his role in the death of Rodgers, whose remains were found after she was missing for 10 days.
