Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Korean police caught entering karaoke as investigation found out that he was the rapist who ran away 13 years ago in Eunpyeong.
A former police officer has been arrested on suspicion of residential burglary and handed over to prosecutors after being identified as the perpetrator of a 13-year-old rape case through DNA matching analysis. READ MORE HERE
The Eunpyeong Police Station in Seoul announced on Nov. 27 that it sent a man in his 40s to the Seoul West District Prosecutors’ Office on Nov. 28 on suspicion of residential invasion and rape.
Information: “A Korean police got arrested entering a karaoke after operation hours & while investigating him the police found out he was the rapist who ran away 13 years ago… the whole country is fcked up from the media to the police.”
Mr. A was a lieutenant in the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s riot police and was removed from his post on the same day.
Police received a report that someone had sneaked into a karaoke bar in Eunpyeong-gu, which had closed in May, and identified him after tracking him down.
During the investigation, police analyzed and compared A’s DNA and found that it matched the DNA found at the scene of a rape case that occurred 13 years ago in Gangnam, Seoul, and charged him with rape.
