Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Journalist confirms Dick Grayson aka Robin will be in ‘The Batman: Part II’..
The Batman — Part II is one of the most anticipated films in DC’s upcoming line-up and was being developed by Matt Reeves and Mattson Tomlin until the writer’s strike put a pin on it. A spin-off series centered on The Penguin was in the middle of filming before the strikes shut down production on that project as well. Both will occur outside the new DCU and fall under the Elseworlds banner. Not many story details are out there about The Batman — Part II yet, but some early reports claim Clayface will play a role in the sequel.
Then again, Reeves utilizing Robin at all could be seen as something of an unusual movie, since Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne wasn’t supposed to have been operating as Batman for very long in the first film.
Of course, there could be a significant time jump before the events of the sequel.
Another rumor circled that a 13-year-old Dick Grayson will appear in The Batman — Part II. Some fans believe Reeves won’t go in a direction that includes the Boy Wonder due to the realistic tone established in the first film. This isn’t the first time Robin has been rumored, either. However, Reeves might incorporate Batman’s sidekick in the sequel if it works for the story, and here’s why he should.
