BTS member and vocalist Kim Taehyung, who is recognized by his stage name V, enlisted in the military on December 11, 2023, embarking on a new journey to serve his mandatory service. The star is reported to return to the limelight in mid-2025 after serving 18 months in the armed forces.However, on December 27, 2023, the fanbase of the Love Me Again singer-songwriter got a new update regarding the BTS idol. Twitter user, @Romantic_Tae, posted about a fellow recruit who had shared that their brother is currently serving in the same platoon as BTS’ Kim Taehyung.

Meanwhile, Namjoon aka V wrote an emotional letter to the ARMY that reads, “The day has come I think there were a lot of things I wanted to say When I shut up, I can’t drop my mouth. I’ve been able to live BTS for the past 10 years. I was so happy. I’ve been saying it like a habit. Since the end is the beginning! I have no doubt that something else will be waiting for us afterwards.” He mentioned, “ See you in the future. I love you a lot. I hope that it reaches you even a little bit.(sic)…”
