A very honest Nigerian man, Julius Monday Nnachi Eze, has sent back N2,500,000 to the bank account of the real owner after the money was mistakenly sent into his Diamond/Access bank account, this afternoon. (Read More Here).
According to Julius Eze, he says that at 12:44PM on July 12, 2021, he received an alert of N2.5M in his bank account. After making calls and lots of confirmations, he realised that the money wasn’t his.
At 1:05PM, he sent back the money (N2.5M) into the account of the rightfully owner, who goes by the name, Ekunie Nnaemeka Wilson, who uses Sterling Bank.
He wrote:
“As at 01:05pm!
Transition done.
I feel emotional right now.
There are decisions you take that attract extra measure!
It takes faithfulness and integrity to do this. I’m super proud of myself and the family I came from!
Good name is better than ill gotten wealth.
You decides what to do but you don’t decide the consequences!
Be you!!!”
