Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that taxi driver drove 120km to return Manuel Neuer his forgotten wallet which contained €800 cash in. (Read More Here).
Neuer sent him a Bayern shirt to thank him.
The driver response after receiving the t-shirt: “This gift is a joke. I can’t do anything with it. I have 4 children to feed. Neuer is stingy!”
But when he cleaned the vehicle later on, he went on to make a discovery. Neuer had left his wallet in the car.
Hazir knew it was Neuer’s wallet as his name and address was visible on a card. There was also ‘probably’ €800 in the wallet, as well as a Visa Card Platinum and a black Mastercard.
The taxi driver was intent on returning the wallet to its owner and thanks to a passer-by, he managed to deliver the wallet to Neuer’s manager at Tegernsee – a town in the Miesbach district of Bavaria – along with his own contact details.
