Hawks have arrested an old couple for defrauding Old Mutual of R1.7 million 23 years ago.
They faked the man’s death and claimed R1.7 million from Old Mutual in 1999.
They were found with 2 illegal firearms. In another news, The Mpumalanga High Court in South Africa has convicted and sentenced a woman, Phindile Sibiya, to 22 years direct imprisonment for murdering her female infant and defeating the ends of justice.
