Denver Nuggets veteran point guard Reggie Jackson put the moves on LA Lakers superstar forward LeBron James during the first half of Tuesday’s regular-season opener.
James also said that he wants to continue to establish himself as a basketball legend:
“But also wanting to be legendary in this game and let my game speak for itself long after I’ve played.”
Entering Year 21, LeBron James already has an NBA championship on his mind. During an interview ahead of Tuesday’s matchup against Denver, James spoke about how motivated he is to win his fifth title:
“I just think for one, it’s just my motivation to continue to be as great as I can be and solidify what I want to do in my career and still seeing that Larry O’Brien trophy in my mind on a daily basis.”
Many are stars, starting with that battle between Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray versus LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Others get the spotlight for different reasons, like Reggie Jackson. The championship team’s outside lineup will once again be part of its rotation and will take the court as one of the league’s quirkiest guys. The reason: being the king of the props.
