Girls’ Generation YoonA and 2PM’s Junho denied dating.
“The two are just close and the dating rumors are not true,” said SM Entertainment, which manages Yoona.
“The two are close, but upon checking [with Lee Junho], the dating rumors are groundless,” JYP Entertainment said.
Yoona debuted in 2007 with the iconic Girls’ Generation, known for hits such as “Gee” and “I Got A Boy.” “King the Land” actors YoonA and Lee Junho have denied dating rumors.
On July 3, an industry representative reported that the two stars began dating before filming “King the Land.” Junho, meanwhile, entered the K-pop scene in 2008 with 2PM, a boy band noted for its members’ macho image. Among the group’s popular singles are “Again & Again,” “Heartbeat” and “My House.”
The two currently star in the drama “King the Land,” which recently premiered on Netflix and follows the love story between a hotel conglomerate heir and his employee. In response to the report, YoonA’s agency SM Entertainment commented, “The two are just close and the dating rumors are not true.” Lee Junho’s agency JYP Entertainment similarly responded, “The two are close, but upon checking [with Lee Junho], the dating rumors are groundless.
YoonA debuted in 2007 as a member of Girls’ Generation, while Lee Junho debuted in 2008 as a member of 2PM. YoonA has built up her acting career with productions including “You Are My Destiny,” “Love Rain,” “Confidential Assignment,” “The King Loves,” “EXIT,” and “Big Mouth.” Lee Junho has gained attention for his roles in dramas including “Good Manager,” “Just Between Lovers,” “Wok of Love,” and “The Red Sleeve” and films including “Cold Eyes” and “Twenty.”
