Gigantic 13-foot crocodile found with its head ripped off on Australian beach.
But the wonder is how did it happen? Because crocodile is a very powerful and dangerous creature.
Crocodiles attacked people between Port Douglas and Cooktown. But it is not clear who cut off the head of this 13 feet long crocodile. His body is so badly decomposed that officials from the Queensland Department of Environment and Science could not even do a necropsy of the crocodile. Necropsy is called postmortem of animals. So that the exact cause of his death can be known.
The Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service said staff were unable to determine the cause of death.
“The crocodile, which was missing its skull, was too decomposed to conduct a necropsy and was buried on Country,” it said.
Tom Chalmers Hayes, a crocodile photographer and conservationist, rushed to the area upon hearing of the dead animal. Tom Chalmers, who took photographs of crocodiles, says that he spent three hours near the Sirkate crocodile. But there is no mark of any other crocodile attack on his body from anywhere. There are clearly marks of attack on him with a sharp weapon. The marks of attack with a weapon called Machete are visible on the neck and body of the crocodile. It is a kind of sharp weapon. By which big animals are bitten.
He was visibly agitated and distressed in a series of furious videos posted to social media venting his frustration.
“This is f***ed – I can’t f***ing believe some people hey. (Look at) this poor c**t,” he said standing just meters from the slain croc.
“Sorry about my language but f***ing hell, this is such f***ing bulls**t.”
