He convinced Ghana’s then Head of State, Acheampong to make him a Diplomat to escape arrest. He lived a luxurious life in the UK.
Blay-Miezah deceived them into believing he had access to $27 billion, he said was entrusted to him by ex President Nkrumah.
He said he needed help to unlock the bond it was kept in.
He was facing the death penalty for economic crimes in Ghana, but talked his way out of it.
