CNN’s presenter/anchor, Anderson Cooper has welcomed his son, who he named after his father, Wyatt Cooper. Anderson’s father, Wyatt died after an open heart surgery when he was only 10year-old.
According to Anderson, he welcomed his baby boy on Monday via surrogacy. He continued by saying when he was a gay kid, he didn’t know that someday he would become a father. He thanked the doctors and nurses for making surrogacy an alternative that gives hope to people looking for children.
He also thanked the woman that acted as a surrogate for his baby boy. Anderson ended his statement by saying he wished his parents and his brother, Carter were alive to see their grand-child and nephew. Carter died after committing suicide.
