Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that G-DRAGON has been booked by Incheon Police on drug possession charges and on charges of violating drug control laws regarding suspicions of drug use.
Former Big Bang singer GD (G-Dragon, Kwon Ji-yong) was booked without detention on suspicion of drug use.
On the 25th, News 1 reported that the Incheon Police Agency booked GD without detention on charges of violating the Narcotics Management Act.
As a result of the drug investigation involving actor Lee Sun-kyun, the police reportedly identified GD through a compulsory investigation after Lee Sun-kyun was booked, and began an additional investigation.
Regarding GD’s arrest without detention and drug charges, YG Entertainment stated to Xports News, “It is difficult for us to respond officially since he is not an artist currently affiliated with our company.”
The police said that the additionally booked celebrity was a separate case unrelated to Lee Sun-kyun and that “since this is an ongoing investigation, specific details cannot be revealed.”
Meanwhile, the Incheon Police Agency is investigating eight people, including Seon-gyun Lee. Lee Sun-kyun was booked on charges of marijuana and psychotropic drugs under the Narcotics Control Act. An employee of an entertainment establishment was booked, and the third generation of Jebeol, a composer, and an aspiring singer are undergoing internal investigation.
