This is the corpse of Emmanuel Itai an indigene of Ikot Inyang village in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area who was beaten to death by men of the Nigerian Police Force today.
According to multiple reports, his father was buried yesterday and later a disagreement between him and his Elder brother led to the invitation of the Police men.
Such a gruesome way to end the life of this man whose officiating of my community matches I still hold fond memories of.
This matter must not be swept under the carpet.
