An undisclosed Congolese man, who recently graduated from Protestant University in Congo, has celebrated his mother by wearing his convocation gown on her. He did it to celebrate his mother for selling breads and using the profit to see him through school.


Taking to Instagram, a popular Instagram blog, shared the heartwarming moment between a fresh law graduate and his mother.


It reads: “This man in a jacket, is a student of the UPC (Protestant University in Congo) who obtained his law degree and who preferred to wear his gown on his mother for the sacrifices made through the sale of breads, source income that financed his studies. “Waooh! This man is an example to follow and a source of inspiration. “Let’s be thankful. Happy Mother’s Day to all.”


In French: “Cet homme en veste, est un étudiant de l’UPC (Université Protestante au Congo) qui à décrocher son diplôme de licence en droit et qui a préféré faire porter sa toge à sa mère pour les sacrifices consentis à travers la vente des pains, source de revenus ayant financé ses études.

Waooh! Cet homme est un exemple à suivre et une source d’inspiration! 

Soyons reconnaissant. Bonne fête des mères à tous.”
