Former Tune Talk CEO Jason Lo has lost his defamation suit against Bernama after the KL High Court dismissed the case.
The court found no malice on the news agency’s part and ordered Lo to pay RM15,000 in costs.
Judicial Commissioner Ahmad Mohzanuddin noted that Bernama’s articles on Lo’s drug and CBT charges mentioned that he had pleaded not guilty in both cases.
Lo contended that the articles made readers think he is a trespasser, thief, drug addict and criminal.
