Five or six secret service agents were subpoenaed by Special Counsel Jack Smith’s grand jury on the January 6th insurrection, and they have given potentially DAMNING testimony regarding the events of the day.
Among the incidents that may have been discussed are the revelation by former White House aide and assistant to former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows Cassidy Hutchinson that Trump tried to grab the steering wheel of his armored SUV and lunged toward his security detail when they refused to drive him to the January 6th gathering.
Secret service agents are sworn to protect those under their care, but they will not be able to shield Trump from the legal consequences of his historically poor and illegal decisions.
