FCT police say Femi Gbajabiamila’s security aide who killed newspaper vendor is not a police officer

FCT police force have openly denied reports of Femi Gbajabiamila’s security aide who killed a newspaper vendor yesterday. The debunking of the incident was released in an official statement by the FCT police spokesperson, Mariam Yusuf.

In the statement, it reads:

“The FCT police force command wishes to unequivocally refute the allegation making round sections of the social media that a police officer attached to the country of the speaker of the House of Rep shot a newspaper vendor within the three Arm zone on Thursday.

“Contrary to the misleading information preliminary investigation into the unfortunate incident reveals that the security aide who shot at the vendor is not a member of the Nigerian Police Force.”

Recall that yesterday, Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila’s security aide killed a newspaper vendor, whose name is, Ifeanyi Okereke in Abuja. He was rushed to the National Hospital, where he eventually died. (Read More Here).
