It is reported that Gideon was allegedly shot by local vigilante in Benin, Edo State, on Sunday, April 10. A source said: “We woke up to the news of Gideon’s death on Monday. We were told he was out late in the night and was accosted by vigilantes. He refused to bribe them and they killed him.
Other sources are telling us he was set up by his friends and robbed of his valuables before they killed him. We want the police operatives in Edo State to help us unravel the circumstances behind Gideon’s death.”
