EXO’s Baekhyun will be discharged from his mandatory service later today.
On February 5th KST, Baekhyun will be officially discharged from his mandatory military service. Baekhyun first enlisted in the military on May 6th, 2021. After today, he will become the 6th member in EXO to have completed mandatory military service.
Meanwhile, fans are speculating EXO to make a comeback in the first half of this year following Baekhyun’s return.
Stay tuned for updates on Baekhyun and EXO. He is the sixth EXO member to complete his military service, following Xiumin, D.O, Suho, Chen, and Chanyeol. Kai and Sehun, the youngest EXO members, have yet to enlist.
With Baekhyun’s discharge, fans are anticipating a full-group comeback. In December 2022, leader Suho posted on Instagram that “EXO will come back in 2023.”
Baekhyun debuted as a member of EXO in 2012. As a soloist, he released his third mini-album Bambi in March 2021.
He is also part of the sub-unit EXO-CBX and leader of SuperM. Baekhyun also debuted as an actor in Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo in 2016. With Baekhyun’s discharge, fans are expecting EXO to make a full-group comeback this year, especially after leader Suho made an Instagram post last Dec. 31, 2022 with the caption: “EXO will come back in 2023.”
