Recall that the media in South Africa said that Shona died of complications from heart operation. Now, the family of Shona has debunked the rumours.

Taking to his official Instagram page, the family of Shona released an official statement confirming the death of its son. According to the statement, it was reported that late Mr. Shona Ferguson had died of Covid-19 complications at a hospital.

Shona died at the age of 47 and was born on 30 April 1974 in Gaborone, Botswana. He’s survived by his big family members and his child.

Family of Shona Ferguson announces:

“It’s with a great sadness that we confirm the passing of Mr. Shona Ferguson. He passed away at noon today (Friday 30, July 2021).

Mr. Ferguson’s untimely passing was due to Covid-19 related complications, and not a heart operation as reported in the media.

We ask that you give the family time to process this painful loss, and respect their space during this time.
