Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that King Mswati strangely used a long-route to Ludzidzini Palace upon arrival from Singapore and Rwanda amid security threats.
The King arrived in eSwatini via the King Mswati III International Airport on Sunday, before flying to Singapore, he had attended the 26th Session of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Kigali,Rwanda.
The King would use the Mbabane-Manzini Highway before the eruption of the political unrest, however this time, he off-ramped at Matsapha(Mahhala) Bridge and travelled via the Kwaluseni-Langeni route with helicopter flying monitoring his escorts.
A roadblock manned by soldiers was staged on the Eve of his arrival few meters away from the Matsapha(Mahhala Highway Bridge)next to Engen Filling Station.
Mswati’s Spokesperson Percy Simelane said the security matters of the King remained with the security personnel.
“Security matters remain with security personnel and not all of us,”said the King’s Spokesperson.
Reached for comments,the female Commander of the Ground Forces said she was aware that the King came back on Sunday and had to change routes.
“Actually, we are working on something after the National Commissioner William Dlamini announced that police are not cowards. Sifuna kubona kutsi bobani lamagwala, ngoba lona lokhulumako usuke ahleti kakhe agadziwe,”said the female Commander of the Ground Forces whose name cannot be revealed for ethical reasons.
Political tension is escalating in this tiny Kingdom of eSwatini after King Mswati unleashed soldiers and the police to shoot and kill dozens of civilians merely for demanding democratic reforms.
