Another police officer has been shot allegedly, by members of the pro-democracy Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) that defends civilians from ‘blood thirsty’ King Mswati’s security forces.

The officer was shot at KaPhunga on Sunday evening as political tension escalates in this tiny Kingdom of eSwatini.

This comes less than two weeks after police officers Zinhle Mavuso and 8150 Constable Sibusiso Matsebula were shot dead allegedly, by the Solidarity Forces.

The Solidarity Forces had vowed to deal with police officers after Mswati demonstrated reluctance in engaging in a political dialogue and subsequently unleashed the police and soldiers to shoot and kill dozens of civilians merely for demanding democratic reforms.

The shooting of the police officer whose name cannot be revealed for now for ethical reasons, was confirmed by an senior member of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) Executive Command.

“Yes it’s true Nkhosi, you can inform the Nation,” he said.

It is not clear if the officer has died as insiders told this publication that he was rushed to hospital at the Luke Commission on Sunday evening, his condition would be known as the story develops.

Police Spokesperson Superintendent Phindile Vilakati had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
