PDRM and JAWI raided a Halloween event at REXKL on Saturday (October 29) night.
Several drag queens and transgender people are reported to have been detained by Jawi for investigations.
Other attendees were temporarily held in the venue, but have since been released.
LGBT activist Numan Afifi wrote on Twitter that 20 people have been transported in a Black Maria for investigations. He is among those who have been called in to be questioned.
Numan says 20 people have volunteered to bail out the detainees.
He adds that all of those who were held are expected to be released tonight.
