Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that South African author, Sizwe Mpofu-Walsh, has received his D.Phil from Oxford University.
Taking to his Instagram page a day ago, Sizwe Mpofu-Walsh shared photos from his D.Phil graduating ceremony held in the United Kingdom.
He studied International Relations for his Doctorate/PhD at Oxford University. On November 7, 2021, he took to his Twitter page to announce that he has been appointed as a lecturer at Witwatersrand University (Wits University) at the Department of International Relations (IR), under the faculty of Huumanities.
He wrote: “I’ve been appointed Lecturer at the @WitsUniversity IR Department from 2022. Looking forward to my first full-time academic role, and to teaching and supervising a new generation of students.”
He wrote: “Ko I had to wait 18 months to attend my @UniofOxford graduation ceremony, but the wait made it all the sweeter.”
Rejoicing with his son, Mr. Mpofu wrote: “The situation right now at Oxford University!
Lets give it up for The Good Doctor In the House!”
