Tears of joy as Diana Chepkemoi finally arrives at JKIA from Saudi Arabia. She is received by her mother Clara Cherotich and other relatives. Photos that circulated online showed her in a deteriorating condition while in Saudi.
Diana Chepkemoi said: “I left Kenya to go to Saudi Arabia with the hopes of getting a better life and to be honest, mine was just a tip on the iceberg, people are suffering there.”
Mike Sonko took to his Twitter page to confirm the return of Diana Chepkemoi back to Kenya. He wrote: “Diana Chepkemoi, the lady who was reportedly mistreated by her employer in Saudi Arabia, will be landing in Kenya in a few hours.
“Konoin MP Brighton Yegon shared this news on social media, saying it would be a sigh of relief for her family.

Diana Chepkemoi was escorted through the arrivals terminal at JKIA by government officials.
On seeing her mum, the 24-year-old ran into her arms and embraced her, tears rolling down her cheeks.”
