Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that CCTV footage shared on Twitter captured the moment Daredevil Remi Lucidi fell off and died from 68th skyscraper in Hong Kong.
The French daredevil who fell to his death while climbing a 721ft skyscraper in Hong Kong eerily wrote ‘life’s too short’ in his social media posts in the days leading up to the fatal stunt, it has been revealed.
Remi Lucidi would rail against criticism of his hair-raising escapades that saw him standing on top of high-rise structures reaching over 950ft high – whether that be skyscrapers or more obscure structures such as cranes, bridges or pylons.
But the thrill-seeker dismissed the advice and replied: “thanks for the tip.”
A few weeks later the stuntman shared a photo of Times Square in Hong Kong, in a chilling post before his death.
And on Thursday evening the 30-year-old died after plummeting from a high-rise building in the city.
Security officers looking for Remi later found a hatch to the roof open. Lucidi, known as ‘Remi Enigma’ on social media, had reached the 68th floor of the Tregunter Tower, a residential block in Hong Kong’s upscale Mid-Levels area, when he plunged to his death.
The young adventurer had been seen by a maid knocking on the windows of the penthouse to get back inside the building, but fell to his death before any help could arrive on Thursday.
Lucida often shared scores of videos and photographs of him smiling while standing precariously close to the edge of high-rise buildings – all while eerily writing that ‘life is too short’ and ‘your comfort zone will kill you’ in the social media posts.
Just one week ago, he posted what would be his last photo of the Hong Kong skyline, accompanied by the caption “Hong Kong” with a love heart emoji.
Having started his endeavours as a stuntman in 2016, earlier posts depict his views from the tops of towering buildings across the likes of Dubai, Bangkok and Warsaw. With 12.8K followers, many of his selfies see him clinging to building spires without any protective gear.
Chilling CCTV footage shows the stuntman taking the lift to the 49th floor and then taking the stairs to the top floor.
He was last seen desperately knocking on the building’s windows calling for help before his 721ft plunge.
Just a few weeks earlier, Remi, who was known for his risky climbing videos, ignored pleas from his followers to be more careful during his stunts.
