Covenant University bans gym over fear of students’ physical appearance

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that a popular Nigerian private university, Covenant University has scrapped gym and also banned students from visiting gym centres. (Read More Here).

According to the information received, the lecturers of Covenant University are scared that the students are getting too big for lecturers to handle. 

The school management told students to build their spiritual muscles and said that bodily exercise profits little. 

The information was shared by a presumed student of the citadel, Ubong Efiok. The message reads:

“They said that guys were getting too big for lecturers to handle. And they said we should build our spiritual muscles. Said that bodily exercise profiteth little.”
