Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Court has ordered Nota Baloyi to pay DJ Shimza an amount of R200 000 plus interest on the defamation of character case that was filed against Nota Baloyi by DJ Shimza. (Read More Here).
On August 2, 2022, Nota Baloyi took to social media to share a picture showing moment he was at a court in Johannesburg, South Africa to defend himself against defamation case filed by Shimza.

This comes after DJ Shimza filed for defamation of character against Nota Baloyi.
“Nota Baloyi said DJ Shimza improperly benefitted from tenders where the Public Finance Management Act wasn’t adhered to. DJ Shimza filed for defamation of character against Nota Baloyi.
“DJ Shimza was accompanied by his girlfriend Athi Geleba.
“Nota Baloyi highlighted that DJ Shimza’s restaurant The Hang Awt unduly benefitted when they hosted the Ministerial Cook Off With Somizi.”
